Representative James Comer, currently serving Kentucky’s 1st congressional district in the U.S. Congress, shared several statements on social media concerning political issues and personal interactions. Comer’s posts touched on topics ranging from border security to legislative predictions.

On March 10, 2025, Rep. James Comer highlighted a significant decrease in illegal border crossings since President Trump assumed office. He noted that these crossings are “DOWN 96% from the all-time high set during the Biden Administration.” He attributed this decline to President Trump’s efforts to secure the border despite opposition from sanctuary city leaders “Since President Trump took office, illegal border crossings are DOWN 96% from the all-time high set during the Biden Administration.”

The following day, March 11, 2025, Comer expressed his pleasure at reconnecting with former Congressman Jason Chaffetz in Washington. The tweet did not elaborate on their discussions but conveyed a sense of camaraderie between the two politicians “Great to catch up with @jasoninthehouse today in Washington.”

Later on March 11, Comer addressed potential Democratic actions regarding an upcoming continuing resolution (CR) vote. In a post linking to a Newsmax segment, he suggested that Democrats would hinder the CR vote process “Rep. Comer to @NEWSMAX: Dems Will Sandbag CR Vote.”
