Later that day, Comer voiced his support for President Trump’s legislative proposal known as “One, Big, Beautiful Bill.” He emphasized its importance by stating: “Congress has a responsibility to pass President Trump’s One, Big, Beautiful Bill.” According to Comer, this bill is significant for delivering tax cuts and enhancing border security. He urged against missing this opportunity to benefit the American populace.
The following day on May 22, Comer criticized the previous administration’s actions concerning testimony before the Oversight Committee.
