Katie Mewes, former Daviess County High School standout’s collegiate team plays on Friday, May 16 in the NCAA Division III Softball Championship

On Friday, May 16, former Daviess County High School standout Katie Mewes’ current collegiate team the Transylvania Pioneers lost 0-1 against the Berry Vikings in the NCAA Division III Softball Championship.

The game took place at Lucinda Samford Cannon Softball Field at 1:30 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Berry Vikings in the tournament.

The Transylvania Pioneers’ next game will take place on Friday, May 16 at 1:30 p.m. at Lucinda Samford Cannon Softball Field.
