Officials to discuss I-69 Ohio River Crossing progress at press conference

On May 27, 2025, a press conference will be held at 12:00 PM CST in Henderson, Kentucky. The event will feature Congressman James Comer, U.S. Senator Todd Young, Congressman Mark Messmer, and several local officials alongside U.S. Department of Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy. They will provide an update on the I-69 Ohio River Crossing bridge project.

The press conference follows an aerial tour of the ongoing construction work on the bridge project. The officials involved include Kentucky Secretary of Transportation Jim Gray and Indiana Secretary of Transportation Matthew Ubelhor. Additionally, Kentucky State Senators Jimmy Higdon and Robby Mills as well as Kentucky State Representative JT Payne are expected to participate.
