On March 26, 2025, Rep. James Comer voiced his concerns regarding the allocation of taxpayer money to media organizations, specifically NPR and PBS. Continuing his critique the following day, March 27, 2025, Comer shared a statement from Jesse Watters on Twitter, quoting, ” @JesseBWatters: ‘Adam Schiff had no evidence of Russian collusion but he was on NPR every day. On March 28, 2025, Comer further expressed distrust in NPR’s information dissemination, writing, “NPR told you Adam Schiff had evidence of Russia Collusion. NPR told you COVID coming from a China lab was a racist conspiracy theory. NPR told you the Biden family never received millions from foreign adversaries.
