Comer credited the President with ending the “Biden Border Crisis,” improving community safety by deporting criminal illegal aliens, addressing economic issues through U.S. job creation, and revitalizing American manufacturing.
The following day, April 30, 2025, Comer noted the important role Congress plays in advancing President Trump’s America First agenda and emphasized the legislative actions being taken to protect taxpayers. He mentioned that the GOP Oversight Committee was working on legislation aimed at saving taxpayers over $50 billion, marking this as a generational opportunity not to be missed.
James Comer, 50, was born in Carthage, Tennessee in 1972 and holds a Bachelor’s degree from Western Kentucky University. He currently resides in Tompkinsville and has a noteworthy political background including service in the Kentucky House of Representatives from 2001 to 2012.
