Rep. James Comer, a U.S. Congressman representing Kentucky’s 1st District since 2016, has taken to social media to express his concerns regarding the leadership and decisions made during the Biden administration. Comer, who succeeded Ed Whitfield in Congress and previously served in the Kentucky House of Representatives from 2001 to 2012, is actively pursuing an investigation into these matters.
On May 17, Rep. James Comer announced on Twitter his intention to conduct transcribed interviews with senior staff from Joe Biden’s White House. He stated: “BREAKING Who was really running the Biden White House? I’m bringing in Joe Biden’s senior staff for transcribed interviews. Here’s who we are starting with: Neera Tanden, Annie Tomasini, Anthony Bernal, Ashley Williams.” The Congressman claims these individuals “propped up a man who was unfit to lead.”
Later that day, Comer continued his criticism of President Biden by focusing on decisions made during the final days of his presidency. He tweeted: “Key decisions made in the final days of the Biden presidency, including using autopens to issue blanket pardons for the Biden Crime Family, must be fully examined.” According to Comer, there are “serious concerns” about President Biden’s mental capacity at that time.
The following day on May 18, Rep. James Comer reiterated his allegations regarding President Biden’s mental state and accused Democrats and media outlets of deception. In a tweet he declared: “Joe Biden’s mental decline was obvious.” He further claimed that “Democrats and the legacy media lied & covered it up,” emphasizing ongoing efforts to uncover what he describes as hidden truths now that those he terms as “Biden’s top enablers” can no longer rely on presidential authority.
Additional background information reveals that James Comer was born in Carthage, Tennessee in 1972 and currently resides in Tompkinsville. A graduate of Western Kentucky University with a Bachelor of Science degree obtained in 1993.
