Rep. James Comer, a current member of the U.S. Congress representing Kentucky’s 1st district, has taken to social media to express his concerns about President Joe Biden and his administration. Comer’s tweets highlight issues he perceives with the Biden administration and related political narratives.

On May 15, 2025, Comer tweeted that “Joe Biden’s entire Administration chose to deceive the American people. But the tape doesn’t lie.” This statement implies that there is evidence contradicting public statements made by the administration.

Two days later, on May 17, 2025, Comer continued his critique by stating “Democrats told you the Biden Hur audio tapes didn’t matter. Democrats told you Special Counsel Robert Hur was interfering in an election. Democrats told you over and over that Joe Biden was ‘sharp.’ The cover-up of Joe’s mental decline is a scandal of historic proportions.” This tweet suggests that there has been a significant effort to downplay or dismiss concerns about President Biden’s mental acuity.

Later on May 17, Comer addressed what he sees as complicity between former White House aides and media outlets in concealing information about President Biden’s condition. He tweeted ” Joe Biden’s former White House aides can’t hide behind the walls of the Oval Office anymore. They orchestrated a deliberate effort with the liberal media to conceal the truth about Joe’s mental decline.” He also announced his appearance on Fox News’ “Hannity,” encouraging followers to tune in for further discussion.

James Comer has served in Congress since replacing Ed Whitfield in 2016 and previously held office in Kentucky from 2001 to 2012. Born in Carthage, Tennessee, he graduated from Western Kentucky University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1993.
