64 percent of applicants to Kentucky Wesleyan College were admitted for fall 2018

At Kentucky Wesleyan College, 94 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 51 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Owensboro enrolled 830 students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. 10.6 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

69 percent of undergraduates are residents of Kentucky, and 30 percent are residents of other states. 1 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (66 percent) and Black or African American (12 percent).

The school admitted 64 percent of the 1,607 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 24 percent enrolled.
