39 percent of applicants to Brescia University were admitted for fall 2018

At Brescia University, 51 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 71 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Owensboro enrolled 1,015 students in fall 2018, including 952 in undergraduate and 63 in graduate programs, data shows. 9.5 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

65 percent of undergraduates are residents of Kentucky, and 29 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (62 percent) and Black or African American (13 percent).

The school admitted 39 percent of the 3,865 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 15 percent enrolled.
