Cost of college went up for all students at Kentucky Wesleyan College

Tuition and fees rose 4.3 percent for 2018-19 at Kentucky Wesleyan College, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Kentucky students paid $26,160 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $1,090 more than the $25,070 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 192 students received grants or scholarships totaling $2.1 million and 144 students took out student loans totaling more than $817,666.

Including all undergraduates (830), 683 students used grants or scholarships totaling $5.7 million, and 471 students took out $4.1 million in federal student loans.
