The Central City Water Treatment Plant is Hiring!
Position Open: Operator
Description: The Central City Water Plant is currently seeking applicants for an operator position. It is preferred that applicants currently hold at least a Class III or Class IV Surface Water Treatment license.
Responsibilities: Operators are responsible for treating drinking water for Central City and Muhlenberg County residents. Tasks include: Quality Control testing, regulatory sampling, non-regulatory sampling, making treatment changes based on source water conditions, filling distribution storage tanks, and general maintenance and facility upkeep.

Pay Scale (Class III & Class IV Operator): $20-$22.00/ hour.
