The Burn Ban for Henderson County has been lifted. Folks it’s still dry out so be cautious when burning, and make sure you have a way to extinguish the fire if it should get out of control. Don’t hesitate to call 911 for assistance.
We are still encouraging people to NOT burn, but if you must, be sure it’s legal by, Learning Before you Burn, and visiting the Kentucky Division of Forestry, and Kentucky Department of Air Quality’s websites.
Reminder we are still under the KY Division of Forestry’s Fall burning season.
