2021 has 3.2% of Henderson County residents unemployed

Henderson County recorded an unemployment rate of 3.2% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 668 people out of the 45,102 living in Henderson County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Henderson County has decreased compared to the 3.8% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Henderson County was less than the statewide unemployment rate of 5.3%.

Of the 19,996 people who had a job during that time, 13 were employed in the Armed Forces and 19,983 belonged to the civilian labor force.
