2021 has 4.5% of Ohio County residents unemployed

Ohio County recorded an unemployment rate of 4.5% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 485 people out of the 23,861 living in Ohio County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Ohio County has decreased compared to the 5.4% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Ohio County was less than the statewide unemployment rate of 5.3%.

Of the 10,235 people who had a job during that time, 48 were employed in the Armed Forces and 10,187 belonged to the civilian labor force.
