Former Henderson County High School standout Taylor Troutman and her Mississippi State Bulldogs softball team were defeated 8-0 by the Texas Tech Lady Raiders on Thursday, May 28, in the NCAA Tournament.

The matchup was held at Devon Park with a first pitch at 11:07 a.m.

Mississippi State is scheduled to play again at Devon Park on Friday, May 29, starting at 6:07 p.m.
