The Bearcats Fall To Ohio Christian At Home
The Brescia Men's Basketball team fell to Ohio Christian University Saturday afternoon, with a final score of 92-81. They extend their record to 5-6 in RSC play.
The game would see the Bearcats and Trailblazers in a tight contest throughout with both sides seeing the lead at some point. The Bearcats would struggle out the gate recording their first points over three minutes into the game. The first half would see eight lead changes, ultimately the Trailblazers would find themselves leading 35-30 at half and never looking back as they would outscore the Bearcats 57-51 in the second half, downing the Bearcats and extending their losing streak to three games.
Tay Smith led the Bearcats in scoring with 25 points, shooting 58% from beyond the arc. Javion Johnson followed closely behind with 20 points, going 7-11 from the field.
The Bearcats will travel to Oakland City to take on the Mighty Oaks January, 28th with a tip off time of 3:00 pm CT.
