The City of Owensboro Parks & Recreation Department invites all community members to attend their choice of two Master Plan Public Meetings on October 17 and 18. Berry Dunn McNeil & Parker, LLC (Berry Dunn) has been working with the department since February on the Master Plan. The public meetings offer an opportunity for residents to share valuable input on what they believe is important for their community parks, and to hear from staff on what information has been collected so far through the Master Plan process.

First Meeting:

• Date: Tuesday, October 17
• Time: 6:00-7:00 p.m.
• Location: Parks & Recreation Administrative Center, 1530 McJohnson Avenue

Second Meeting

• Date: Wednesday, October 18
• Time: 5:00-6:00 p.m.
• Location: Dugan Best Recreation Center, 1003 Omega Street

The Parks & Recreation Master Plan is an effort to plan improvements, resources, and priorities for the future of our parks and recreation amenities, programs, and services. Community input is an important part of this process to better understand residents’ needs and desires concerning parks and recreation.
