Rep. James Comer, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Kentucky’s 1st district, has made several public statements via social media regarding recent political developments. His tweets address issues involving President Joe Biden and federal employee work policies.

On December 3, 2024, Rep. Comer commented on President Joe Biden's decision to pardon his son, suggesting it was an attempt by the president to protect himself from accountability. He stated: "President Joe Biden's sweeping & unprecedented pardon for his son is an attempt to protect himself." He further alleged that President Biden participated in corrupt influence-peddling schemes with his family for years.

Later on the same day, Rep. Comer addressed a new work-from-home agreement for thousands of federal employees prior to former President Donald Trump taking office again. In this context, he promoted his legislative proposal called the SHOW UP Act aimed at ensuring government accountability and presence for its citizens. He tweeted: "THOUSANDS of federal employees just landed a work from home deal ahead of @realDonaldTrump taking office."

On December 4, 2024, Rep. Comer reiterated his claims about President Biden's actions concerning his son's pardon following a GOP oversight report detailing financial transactions involving the Biden family with foreign entities. According to Comer: "Joe Biden pardoned his son because he read @GOPoversight’s report that contained BANK RECORDS showing the Biden family took in millions of dollars from China, Russia, and others."
