House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman James Comer praised the Trump administration for its creation of a COVID-19 investigations landing page aimed at increasing transparency for the public.

"The House Oversight Committee's Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic conducted a comprehensive two-year investigation into the origins of and response to the COVID-19 pandemic. This investigation unearthed the truth about how U.S. taxpayer dollars were funneled to the Wuhan Lab under Dr. Fauci's watch for dangerous gain-of-function research; how social distancing requirements just 'sort of appeared'; and how former Governor Cuomo committed medical malpractice and covered up the deaths of thousands of New York seniors. Radical leftists slandered Americans as conspiracy theorists for following the facts and now we all know who the true science deniers are based on the facts our investigation revealed. President Trump is rightfully providing the American people with the truth about the COVID-19 pandemic."

The Select Subcommittee released its report into the pandemic in December 2024 after completing the investigation.
